A National language is a tool that makes the Nation , the citizens of the Nation understands each other for us to be at peace and will grow economically. A National language is a reflection or it shows our liberty.

But in our modern world for today. My country Philippines  is not that used or focused in speaking Filipino we are more on speaking English by this we develop a language we called “Taglish” a combination of Tagalog/Filipino and English.

In 2003 Philippines Establish Executive order 210 a Policy to strengthen the use of English in the  Educational System signed by our Ex President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo last May 17 2003 and the House Bill No. 4701 An Act of providing for the use of English as a Medium of instruction in the Philippine schools. As a millennial child its hard for us to  use Filipino especially the older words in Filipino.  But despite of this defect our Komunikasyon Teacher , encourages us to speak in Filipino  on her class so that we can’t diminish the language.

Despite of the modernization and foreign language and cultures we must not forget and always put emphasis to our dear own language and culture. As a Filipino living in the Philippines that has hundreds of languages and rich cultures , a National language is important we must learn to appreciate it  as our famous National Hero quote “Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda”
